H.G.Wells The Time machine

I have watched both the 1960 film with Rod Taylor and the later film in 2002 with Guy Pearce.  Neither film is based in London as per the original book by H.G.Wells that he wrote back in 1895.  I purchased a Kobo and downloaded the free kindle on Amazon.co.uk.

Both films are very different to the original book, the films both being very much a love story, with modified scripts on the original story by H.G.Wells.   It would be great if we could have a new film with London being the main location as per the original story.  The original book is only about 100 pages long, so shouldn’t take more than an afternoon to read.

I enjoyed reading the book, but I preferred the 1960 and 2002 edited film versions, which had far bigger adventures in them and a happy ever after ending.

All the best

Tim
