UK the fairest democratic proportional representation system.

A few years ago we were offered a proportional representation system that nobody understand and was flawed.   There is a very simple system that we could introduce that would make every vote count.

We would keep the same elected M.P. per constituency, but would count up the total number of votes per party and then divide by the total number of elected M.P’s per party.  Each elected M.P. would then have that number of votes in each Parliament vote.

Tories

11,334,576 / 331

Labour

9,347,304/232

Liberal

2,415,862 /8

SNP

1,454,436/56

UKIP

3,881,099/1

Greens

1,157,613/1

I realise that UKIP and the Greens would be heavily waited to 1 MP, but their party would have a big voice in Parliament and represent the true will of the people.

Tim
