Edale view Photograph

Photography Anston, Dinnington, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and UK

The hills around Edale are about as wild as it gets in England, unless you go out into the outer reaches of the Lake district.  This view is about 30/60 minutes from the car park in Edale.

  1. I went on a walking holiday in Edale this summer, it was lovely. The weather in this picture looks a little better than when we were there, but all the same. There’s a really nice pub in Edale that sells some good food, too.

    Great post 🙂

    1. Hi Harry. It’s a beautiful area, but you have to be careful as the weather can turn fast. Which pub did you go to, the Old Nags head or the one further down? regards Tim

      1. Old Nags Head, that’s the one. And yes, we got stuck in a bit of cloud, and it was a bit worrying for a little bit. A compass and a map got us out though.
