Telephone box’s have become more and more obsolete in the UK.  In towns and city’s you are more liable to see the clinical modern ones.  In the villages they have been kept for heritage, but many are nothing more than a 2nd hand book library or information centre.  I remember having one of the first mobile phones for a car in the early 1990’s.  Phonebox’s were still well used in those days.
