Letwell cottages

Photography Anston, Dinnington, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and UK

People are now living in these cottages, but one of them is marked as the Post office.  Letwell has a church, so I would find it hard to believe that it didn’t have a pub at one time.  The closest pub I know of is the Black Lion at Firbeck.

If you know of any public houses that once existed at Letwell, please let me know?

      1. no should be quick – get one of those from 1861 to 1881 – get a free trial of ancestry or something if you can but remember to cancel. if it’s a pub it will be in the left hand column – bear in mind that the numbers are not street numbers (not that they would nec be the same anyway)
