Turnerwood lock

Photography Anston, Dinnington, Sheffield, South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire and UK

Turner wood is a great place to see a considerable number of locks on the Chesterfield canal, after the picture is a plan of the locks there.

This is an example of one of the locks.  A great place to stop off at Di’s Orchard tearooms for a drink or ice cream.  The Orchard tea rooms open on the 1st of April for the season.
